Money Myth No.3: There's Power In Money

Money is a tool we use - so it has purpose, but it has no power. YOU have the power! Money can't control you unless you give your power over to it. Money can't stress you, or overwhelm you, or frustrate you, or anger you, or depress you, unless you give it the power to do so. If money is controlling your life - the desire for it, the need for it, the lack of it, whatever - I encourage you to take your power back.

How? Tap into the power of Christ that lies within you. Everything is subject to the name and the authority of Christ. Everything. Money has to submit to the authority of Christ. And that authority is within you! So, money is subject to you - through Christ. This is not some kind of weird, magic power. The word of God says in Matt 16:19 that you have the keys to the kingdom of heaven and "whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." If you lack money, loose it! You can speak to it and command it to come.

Adversely, you can bind the spirit of poverty and remove the stronghold of lack from your life. You have all the power over money with one word: Jesus. There's something about the name Jesus. There is power in that name...so use it!

Here are some action steps for you to take:

Take your power back! Emotionally release the stress, depression, fear, doubt, etc. that you experience because of money. Denounce all those negative emotions at once! Align your feelings with the Word of God, which says, "For it is He that gives you power to get wealth."(Deut 8:18) So, breathe, embrace the power of Christ within and stand in it. When you feel yourself going backward, re-align! Stop those thoughts when they come. Block those fears when they rise up. Be conscious and aware when your flesh loses control and intentionally walk in the spirit. Take your power back!

Use your keys to the kingdom. You have the power to bind and loose in Jesus name, so speak to money. Loose it! Tell it to flow to you, to come into your life. Command it - in the name of Jesus - to manifest in the natural realm, now! Bind the enemy. Tell him to get his hands off of your finances. Command him to flee - in the name of Jesus. Forbid him to block your provision. Speak aloud, because death and life are in the power of your tongue. Do it with the authority (and power!) of Christ that is within you. Don't be afraid. It may seem uncomfortable at first, but step out on faith. Be consistent with this - do it as often as you need to for results. Manifestation, when it's done right, works! This process changed my financial situation. Do it!

Make good decisions with the flow that comes. As stated in Money MythNo.1, respect God's provision. Pay your tithes, pay and prioritize your responsibilities, give freely to others and stay focused on kingdom-oriented things. Don't use your power to manifest wealth and then allow the devourer to steal it all because you fail to use it wisely - that defeats the purpose. Make wise decisions and run your actions through the Holy Spirit, which is here to lead, guide and direct you.

Stay in a place of gratitude at all times. Be grateful for what you already have and for what God will provide! Continually bless God for the provision He gives. David says in Ps34:1, "I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth." This, too, should be your stance. Don't forget to honor and acknowledge where your abundance comes from...all the time! Stay in a place of gratitude.

YOU have the power to create wealth in the spiritual realm and the gifts and skills to produce it in the natural. Money (or the lack of it) has no power over you! The key is taking dominion and stepping into your authority. When Christ left, He gave us everything we would need to live a peaceful, abundant life here on earth. Remember, He's Jehovah Jireh - your provider!
